This policy applies to terramod.com.au and any services, enquiries, quotes or contracts we provide.

Enquiry details: site location, project brief, budget, timing and any documents or images you choose to send us.
Transaction details: billing information, deposits and payment records where you become a customer.
Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, referring URL and pages viewed, collected automatically by our hosting provider and analytics tools.

2. How we collect it

Directly from you when you contact us, request a quote, sign an NDA, enter a contract or apply for a role.
Automatically when you use our website (see our Cookies Policy).
From third parties such as referrers, building consultants, certifiers or government registers, where relevant to your project.

3. Why we use it

To respond to enquiries and prepare quotes, proposals and contracts.
To design, manufacture, deliver and install modular dwellings you have engaged us to provide.
To send you information about our products and projects you have asked to receive.
To meet our legal, tax, building, work-health-and-safety and warranty obligations.
To improve our website and services.

4. Direct marketing

We will only send you marketing communications where you have consented or where the law otherwise permits. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, in compliance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). To opt out at any time, email hello@terramod.co.

5. Who we disclose it to

We may share your personal information with:

Our staff, contractors and professional advisers (architects, engineers, certifiers, installers, lawyers, accountants).
Service providers that help us run the business, including website hosting (Vercel Inc., United States), email, CRM, analytics and payment processing.
Government bodies, councils and certifiers where required for development approval, building certification or compliance with law.
A prospective buyer of our business, subject to confidentiality.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Overseas disclosure

Some of our service providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it consistently with the APPs.

7. How we store and secure it

We hold personal information in cloud systems protected by access controls, encryption in transit, and reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
